I was able to change what was in focus, by zooming in and out. The photo of my cat was the best, because it a good example of foreground middle ground; the cat is the foreground the middle ground is the fire place and the back round is the trees behind the fire place. I would use shallow depth of field to show the viewer what is most important in the picture. The second photo is the better ones for depth and field because the trees are framing the house.
